Gizmodo Nintendo Wii U: FAQ available that explains the insanity of the Nintendo Wii U – the latest game console to enter the market since 2006. It has a very unusual controller – it’s about the size of a 7″ book mashed with a Wii-mote and Wii nunchuk.
It’s truly bizarre and brazen – something that Nintendo is known for. When the Wii came onto the scene it brought motion controls to the forefront and perhaps this is another ground breaking revolution for the gaming industry – it forced Microsoft to introduce Kinect and Sony to develop the Move! Is this another groundbreaking control system? With this controller we can have coop games without a bloody split screen on the television; a playercan actually be playing a separate game that is tied to the main one on the television i.e. breaking into a safe while someone else is providing cover for you. The applications for this type of controller system is mind blowing and if you can use this as an independent game system as well, I’m going to be speechless.
